Horizon Offisite project has recently been completed in Cobh, Co. Cork. This was a rapid build housing development finished in 12 weeks. This is phase 1 of a multi-phase project and consisted of 29 residential units. Phase 2 is scheduled for starting during summer 2019.
This project had to fit into an extremely tight site. As the steel is light weight gauge this was a huge advantage as it was lighter than other forms of bulding systems. This ensured a quick turn-a-round for the developer and project manager. It also ensured the build stays on time and budget (approximatley 1.5 days per housing unit) . Prefabricated timber trusses were then incorporated into the structure. Further advantages to be gained from the system include a speedier installation of windows, together with the ability of the installation of the internal and external finishes to be done simultaneously.

The design and engineering of all our projects are inhouse in our state of the art facilities in Cahir, Co. Tipperary, Ireland. Our facility has the capacity to produce 300,000 square meters of Light Gauge Steel Product per annum based on one 8 hour shift. This is equivalent to 2,000 standard Residential units per annum.
