The Whitehall housing was delivered under the Accelerated Build Social Housing programme for Wicklow County Council. This social housing scheme was deemed ‘Essential’, which allowed construction activities to continue onsite throughout the period of Covid-19 lockdown.
The expert team at Horizon Offsite facilitated the accelerated build method, which consisted of a structural frame comprising panelised light gauge steel frames (LGSF) with integrated insulated wall panels that were built/manufactured offsite at our facility in Cahir, County Tipperary and delivered flat-packed to the site for installation in a very short time period.
West Wicklow is an area of high demand so we were delighted to work with ABM to deliver this much-needed new housing for Baltinglass.
